Everyone is all about “gluten-free” but has anyone really thought the issue could be a little deeper than that… perhaps grain in itself?
It seems as though a diet low in carbs (ketogenic) can help our bodies perform at a maximal level. What I find most interesting is that the body in a ketogenic state can stimulate the production of BDNF which supports cell health and cognitive function. Are carbs bad for our health and our brain? I don’t think there ever is one simple answer to every person’s health issues, but eating too many simple carbs can cause a variety of health problems.
